The following items are all parts that I used to create the prototype version of this model. Note that I've transparently listed the items with Amazon links that I actually purchased from Amazon. These links cost you zero to use, and they are the sole and teeny tiny revenue stream for this whole website. Please consider using them unless you have a local hobby shop. By all means, you should support the local hobby shop as sadly they are going away. The people that have the passion to run the local shops are a source of experience, and encouragement that simply cannot be overlooked.
Motor:
My first selection for this model was the
DIAMONDDYNAMICS Hobbyhh Brushless Motor 4250 800kv Power 1250W Amazon link: https://amzn.to/4mw4z2Y
This inexpensive motor should be plenty powerful, but I had trouble with mine in that it would throw magnets at full power grounding out the motor. I'm sure they would have warrantied the motor but by the time I had a chance to come across this problem the motor was far outside the return window. I attempted to repair it, but ultimately I gave up and spent far more money on an upgrade below.

A Far better version. but a bit pricier. Note that this will require a modified motor mount. Reach out to me, and I will make those files available.

ESC:
80 Amp Brushless with BEC Amazon. Make sure to select the 80 amp option! Or again, ask your local hobby shop for their recommended battery, motor, and esc bundle.
Propeller:
14x7 - Again, verify with motor manufacturer's specifications. These are big motors with high amperages and the correct prop is crucial for getting max efficiency and not over amping your equipment. Motor manufacturers often provide recommended sizes for their motors.
